這款是 ASUS Xonar Essence STX，

雖然 ASUS 似乎加入音效這塊領域不久，

但這款的評價似乎很高，

在不景氣之中還是大力投入研發也是值得稱許的動作。

很新鮮的貨，好像去年十月初在美國還是哪有上市吧，

而在最新的電腦王55期（2009年1月號），

即 PC'ADV 的A極鑑定團欄目中也有報導。

簡單的說，是塊用料很頂級的好卡，

解碼採 TI 最頂級的 PCM1792

電容方面大範圍的應用了 FG

輸出運放為 LM4562+2114

而且加上了金鐘罩與獨立4pin電源，

應該能有效降底電子雜訊的干擾，

也算做了一層穩壓的動作？

算是音效卡中少見，但是很有道理的改進，

就我的認知跟 usb DAC 的意思應該差不多。

在 Head-fi 的 討論串 中甚至有人認為這款贏過

萬元級的 Corda HA-1 MK1 改機版

I think I'm the only person who's posted a

comparision of the STX's amp section to

an external amp so far. Though I'm not

implying anything about it's sound quality.

It is superior to my Corda Blue,

which for those who aren't aware is a

Corda HA-1 MKI modded by KurtW.

I paid $430 for the Blue about 4 years ago.

Zimmzio said a few words a couple pages ago

comparing the 1212 to the STX. Apparently the

STX is warmer/less neutral but less smeared,

more resolving and fuller than the 1212.

不過…價格似乎也不親民，

但是用料很頂啊~

所以是款值得注意的好卡！
